Visit from Queensland!!! 

Great Ocean Road and Melbourne Sightseeing (22.11.-23.11.2008)

This was an awesome weekend! All photos speaks for itself but I want to explain a bit further. We, that is Emilie (Belgium), Ana and Leo (both Mexicans) started our terrific weekend at Melbourne on saturday morning (7.20 am!!!). We visited the great Ocean Road, organized by Go West Tours. Starting in Melbourne, we went to Torquay and the world famous surfing beach Bells beach. Leaving this behind we entered the official start of the Great Ocean Road (see first picture). We´ve visited the Great Otway National Park, Apollo Bay (for a coffee break), Maits Rest Rainforest Reserve and arrived at the amazing 12 Apostles (which are no longer 12, still 8 left). Emilie and I did an absolut fantastic helicopter flight!!! After this highlight we went to Loch Ard George and finally to the London Brige, which fell down a few weeks after BMW shoot a commercial spot there. Tired, but not tired enough we arrived back in Melbourne and after a shower we met again to explore the nightlife at Chapel Street, where we finally arrived at the Lucky Coq.

On saturday I showed Ana, Emilie and Leo Melbourne. We started our day at the Melbourne Museum, went on to the Parliament and after that to Melbourne Central, the State Library, Flinders Street Station, St. Pauls Cathedral and Federation Square. We splitted our group because Emilie and Ana wanted to see the Musical "Wicked" and lucky Chris won two tickets at the daily lottery for them :)

Leo and I went to the Royal Botanical Garden and after to St. Kilda, where we made some terrific photos! Meeting the girls after we went to the Crown Casino for lunch and finally home!

It was an absolut fantastic weekend and I enjoyed it a lot!!! Thanks!!!
